Academic Achievements
During the 2011-2012 school year, one of our juniors qualified for the National Merit Scholarship. Our student scored among the 50,000 highest scoring participants out of 1.5 million students. It is a huge honor for a student and the school just to qualify for the program.
These are just a few of the academic achievements for the 2010-2011 school year:
- 1st place in 5th grade for the ACSI District Spelling Bee
- 2nd place in 6th grade for the ACSI District Spelling Bee
- 1st place in 7th grade for the ACSI District Spelling Bee
- 2nd place in Computation for 3rd grade in ACSI District Math Olympics
- 2nd place in Computation for 5th grade in ACSI District Math Olympics
- 2nd place in Reasoning for 5th grade in ACSI District Math Olympics
- Silver medal in 5th grade for Poetry at the ACSI Speech Meet
- Silver medal in 5th grade for Prose at the ACSI Speech Meet
- 6 Gold Medals at the ACSI High School Speech Meet for Reader's Theatre
- Two Excellent Awards in Literature and Dramatic Interpretation at the ACSI High School Speech Meet
